“The Brahmaputra River is known by four main, plus many “local”, names as it flows through its different countries: Yarlung Tsangpo in China/Tibet, Siang as it enters the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh, Brahmaputra in the Assam Valley of India and the Jamuna in Bangladesh.”
